Registrar description
Modern robotics is undergoing a paradigm shift, moving away from manually engineered behaviors towards systems that learn complex skills directly from data. This course provides a deep dive into the algorithms, data sources, and model architectures that will power the generalist robots of tomorrow. We will also discuss the ingredients of a "Robot Foundation Model" and how we can build robotic systems powered by these models for real-world applications such as manipulation and navigation. This graduate course brings together instructor-led lectures, student presentations, and invited talks from leading researchers at the research frontier.
